Build Experience
Now that you have the backgorund on the team and drivers, lets take a look at the LEGO® set you came here for. The build really is fun and should take the average builder around 40 minutes to an hour to complete. I built it while watching the 2025 Monaco Grand Prix and it was very enjoyable.

WHat i do not like is that the blue on the set does not match the blue the actual car. The actual F1® car’s blue is very dark where as the LEGO® set has a very light blue. I know its a small complaint but it is very noticable once you see the real car.
- Balanced Complexity: The build offers just the right challenge for younger builders while providing enough detail to satisfy experienced fans.
The Minifigure
As is the case with every Speed Champion‘s set, there is an included minifigure. The included minifigure represents a VCARB 01 team driver, dressed in a sleek race suit that matches the car’s futuristic aesthetic. The minifigure is not aimed to any of the drivers which, in my opinion, is a good thing. It helps young builders boost vreativity and imagine themselves as F1® drivers.

- Helmet and Visor: The minifigure comes with a stylish helmet, enhancing its racing persona. The visor is also a really nice red/ orange color and not a generic clear visor which is nice.
- Team Representation: As stated before, the minifigure isn’t tied to a specific driver. However it embodies the spirit and professionalism of the VCARB 01 team.
Playability and Display Value
Playability:
- Interactive Racing: The VCARB 01 rolls smoothly, allowing for high-speed play and imaginative races. The set comes with some really nice wheels that roll smoothly on flat surfaces. The LEGO® set is also durable and allows young builders to actually play with the set and race it around. I think that is a good thing becuase LEGO® is meant to be played and interacted with.
- Driver Interaction: The minifigure fits perfectly into the cockpit, adding realism to the racing experience. And since a minifgure can git into the cockpit, you can place any minifigure in the cockpit and have some crazy story lines. For example i put Luke Skywalker into the F1® car.

- Compact Size: The size of the model is also really nice. It is bigger than normal Speed Champion sets and gives you a real sense of presence on the shelf.
